Animal Logic USD Maya (ALUSD_maya) - Integration USD in Maya from the company Animal Logic, was originally oriented on the workflow of animators. The plugin maintains a connection between the USD and Maya scene, and can respond to various events, keeping the Maya and USD scenes in sync.
Autodesk plans to combine Maya plugins from Animal Logic and Pixar to include it in the official distribution Maya.
