Installing and configuring Wizart Desktop
Before you start installing our software, make sure that:
- You received a login and password from the animation coordinator on your project.
- Your computer has OS Windows 7 x64 or OS Windows 10 x64 installed.
- You have installed Autodesk Maya 2018 Update 5 (or higher) - our rigs and plugins will not work correctly in other versions of Maya and with an update below 5!
You can find out the version of your update by entering this code in the Script Editor (Mel) in Maya: about-iv
Installation 💾
Wizart Desktop is a development of our studio, which was created specifically to make your life as easy as possible. 😊
The program allows you to download our resources, upload .ma files for approved scenes, and run our scenes without having to specify the paths to the references.
At the same time, our Maya plugin - Wizart Animation - will be installed, which is necessary for building our scenes, working with rigs and our picker.
 Important | We use an online installer, make sure that you have an internet connection before running the installation. |
1. After you click on the link, the installer will be downloaded to your computer, run it.

2. During installation, there may be problems with the antivirus, for example, on Windows 10, disable it if necessary.
3. Click the button Next.

4. Установите в папку по умолчанию, либо в место удобное вам.
| Важно | Не указывайте в качестве места для установки корень диска (Например С:\). В этом случае, при удалении Wizart Desktop вместе с программой будут удалены все ваши файлы на этом диске. |

5. Выберите необходимые для установки компоненты (если вы не уверены в том, какие именно компоненты вам нужны, оставьте все по умолчанию).

6. Нажмите кнопку Install.

7. Дождитесь завершения установки Wizart Desktop и запустите программу, нажав Yes.

Настройка 🔨
1. Запустите Wizart Desktop через ярлык на рабочем столе. Или используйте путь (при условии, что вы не изменяли его при установке).
C:/Program Files (x86)/Wizart Animation/wizart_desktop/wizart_desktop.exe
2. Во вкладке Actions введите логин и пароль, которые вам прислал координатор анимации. Выберите пункт Set Data Sync Login/Password.

3. Укажите папку для проекта, где вы будете хранить наши ресурсы. Убедитесь, что у вас достаточно свободного места на диске. Выберите пункт Set Wizart Root Folder.
