Wizart Desktop Tool
Wizart Desktop - special standalone software that hanging at Windows System Tray, and can download and upload all files you need on our FTP server. When download is finished, it can make system tray notifications, on download success or failure.
First Install
Start Wizart Desktop from new Maya menu Wizart Animation => Wizart Desktop Tool
When Wizart Desktop Window appeared, enter login and password that supervising animator gave you earlier.
Specify root folder for your project files, this folder will contain all files you need, so make sure that you have enough disk space.
Press download and if login and password entered correctly earlier, you ftp download will start.
Wait for completing of download process, usually it takes 10-15 minutes. You can check progress bar and watch download log at Wizart Desktop.
When download is completed, you can find your files inside "projects" folder. "work" folder will be used for uploading files back to us.
Now you can start working in Maya. For example, Layout for Episode 17 Scene 04a you can find at path
{your_folder}/sq4/04_Episodes/Ep_17/LayOut-Out/Scene_04a/ep_17_sc04a_layout_v03.ma
where {your_folder} is your projects root folder you specified earlier.
Upload Files to FTP
We have special working local folder work, that you musted use for exchange files with us. The same folder we have on FTP server, and using Wizart Desktop it syncing/mirroring folder contents between your PC and FTP server.
You can delete files locally, copy files to this folder and that will trigger upload to FTP server.
To make easier visually understand what happening with work folder Wizart Desktop have special are in UI called "Work Area". You can see here work folder contents.
Вы можете используя Drag&Drop перетащить файл в Work Area и он зальется на FTP.
Также вы можете используя Drag&Drop перетащить несколько файлов.
Если нажать кнопку Open Folder in Explorer, то откроется локальная папка work стандартном Windows Explorer. Вы можете перекидать файлы туда, Wizart Desktop будет следить за изменения в этой папке, и активировать синхронизацию. Вы можете воспользоваться этой фичей, чтобы копировать файлы на закачку, удобным вам способом, например через Total Commander.
Если вы не уверены что файлы синхронизированы, например если вы выключали Wizart Desktop, то вы можете форсированно закачать нажав кнопку Ftp Upload.
Вы можете удалить файлы, используя контекстное меню, либо любым другим способом удалить файлы в папке work(например через Windows Explorer). Обратите внимание, это также удалит файлы на FTP !
