Working with prodtrack
Production Tracking
Prodtrack is our in-Studio web platform designed to optimize the process of accounting for the production of cartoons.
Prodtrack will help you keep track of all the tasks that are assigned to you, get the necessary resources to work on the shot, and upload your playblasts for the review.

Start of work:
1. First of all, you need to go to the site using the username and password that your supervisor sent you. To do this, we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome.
2. Open the tab My Tasks. It displays all your tasks at the moment. The status of the task wip (work in progress), means that the task is all right and you can take it to work.
(Sometimes you can see the open, hold or close statuses there, in this case it is better to check the information on this scene to the supervisor before working on it.)
3. To open information about a shot, click on its name in the Link tab. In the Versions tab, you can find a 3D layout video for the scene and a video reference with a recording of the actors.
If your shot will not be video reference, you need to use that there are 2D and 3D animatics, if your shot will be some videos for references, check with the supervisor what you need to take to work from each one.
4. You can view these files directly in Prodtrack by clicking on their name and clicking play. Or, if necessary, download them to your computer by clicking on the file name in the File tab.
5. To view the montage sheet, 2D and 3D animatics, open the episode page, and select there, either the Versions tab (here are 2D and 3D animatics) or the Files tab
(here you can also find the description and script of the entire sequence in text form).
6. On the Assets page, you can find all the necessary characters and view video examples of this character's animation in the Versions tab, as well as open their text description in the Files tab.
7. Now you know where to find all the resources you need to work. In case you have any questions about the task, be sure to write to your supervisor.
How to upload a new version of the playblast to the review?
1. Open the page with your tasks (My tasks), click on the name of the task.
2. Open the Versions tab.
3. Click add version.
4. Select your file, change its status to review. You can also add a small description indicating what you have changed in this version.
5. Click Create.
6. You are irresistible!
Where and when will appear a comment on your work?
1. We try to give feedback as quickly as possible and send you comments on your work.
You will receive a comment in a message in the mail the next or in a day after you upload the latest version of the playblast to the review. It will also appear in the Activity, Notes, and version tabs.
Also, your version of the playblast will change its status to Comment.
2. In case you have any questions about your comment, you can write them in response to it using the Reply button.
If you do not have any questions, do the work on the errors and upload a new version of the playblast to the review.
3. If you received a comment Approved and the status of the playblast version changed to Approved instead of Comment, then this version of the shot is accepted and you can upload it to the maya file using Wizart Desktop.
4. After you upload the maya file, please write a comment about this,
this will help us to track down this file faster and pass the information to the payment (when you will have uploaded all the files for the shots assigned to you from one episode/sequience).
